Isaiah Thomas Finally Gets His Tribute In Boston

Man this one hit me right in my feelings last night. Isaiah Thomas was the ultimate Celtic, he laid his heart and soul on the line every night for this team and deserved every part of what he got last night. When the trade happened i hated it, I knew that we were getting a better player in Kyrie but my heart was attached to IT4 just like I’m sure all the rest of Celtics fans were.

Things haven’t worked out for him since he left, from battling injuries to not fitting in with Lerbon’s Cavs. It has been a real struggle for him ever since he left Boston. I know the Celtics easily won the trade, being able to get Kyrie, you just cant turn down a chance like that. Here we are 1.5 years after he was traded and this one still just doesn’t feel right to me. Isaiah Thomas was meant to play in Boston and he should of never had to leave. He gave everything he had to the Celtics, but unfortunately as we all know with professional sports sometimes business gets in the way.

Im not here to debate the trade, once again we all know the Celtics one this trade, but sometimes players just mean more to a franchise. It has been a bumpy ride to say the least since he left, but he is a free agent once again at years end. Lets do the right thing here Danny Ainge, you didn’t want to back up the Brinks truck for him and that was totally fair. Now this offseason you have a chance to bring him back on the cheap and give him a chance to revive his career in the city he loves. It might be my heart talking and it might be a reach, but Id love to see Isaiah Thomas back in the green and white next year where he belongs.

NBA Monday In America

Have I been cold as of late? Absolutely. Is there rain before rainbows? Every time my friend. We’ll get some NBA and some college but more than anything we’ll get some world class winners. Let’s dive into Super Bowl Week with these games tonight.

Tonight, there’s a few games to chose from but we’re going with the age old strategy of betting with the best teams. Look, there’s no need to overthink things in the wishy washy NBA. We’re almost half way through the season and by now the teams who are on the bottom tier should all be thinking Zion Zion Zion. With that being said, the Warriors are heading to Indiana and without Victor Oladipo, the hope in the Pacers season is dwindling. Warriors are coming off a big win against the Celtics and had a nice day to rest yesterday. I’m taking the Warriors -8.5 and I assume this line will go up as the day goes on. Warriors are rolling and that continues tonight with a wounded Pacers team. Speaking of wounded teams, the Memphis Grizzlies are crumbling from the heart and Gasol/Conley are both up for grabs. When your team is shopping the two best players they have, things could be better. For Denver, they’ve become a serious contender and with Isaiah Thomas coming back after the all star break, they could be a force. I don’t think they’ll beat the Warriors, but they will definitely beat the Grizzlies tonight by 7. Nuggets are -6 and will continue to roll tonight against a team that doesn’t know where it’s going.

The college game can be very unforgiving. There has been bad beat after bad beat this year in the college game but we’re going to reverse that curse tonight. The only team that would be able to do it, aside from my Oregon Ducks of course, is the team that has frogs with horns. That’s right, the TCU Horned Frogs take on the Texas Tech Red Raiders tonight in Texas. TCU is +4.5 and are 4-1 in their last 5 ATS. I’m not a stats guy, but if I was, that stat would for sure convince me to take TCU. Texas Tech screwed me last time I took them so now it’s time for some revenge, frog revenge that is. TCU +4.5 tonight at Texas Tech and look for a big conference win for the Frogs tonight.

Recap: Warriors -8.5, Nuggets -6, TCU +4.5. Those are the three basketball games to take for tonight and if you don’t like any of them then the TCU under seems to be a smart play. Good luck to all and lets get those account balances in the green.

Bro Bro Bro Bets 1/25/19

Good day to all and to all a good day. We’ve got winners across the board and your bookie is going to need extra provolone for his salami sandwich cause we’re going to rob him blind. We’re dying for a little food, so let’s serve some apps.

DigsHouston +2 – You’re going to make the beard a home dawg? Tony’s jumping on that like the first slice of pizza he’ll jump on after the weight loss challenge.

Connor – Denver -15 – The Phoenix Suns are coming off a back to back and the Nuggets are one of the best home teams in the NBA this year. I like them more than I like the lasagna I had for dinner last night.

GormsMilwaukee -11 – Sticking to his guns, the Greek Freak is fast and he shoots.

DigsWizards +3.5 – In what world does Orlando deserve to be this big of a favorite? Tony Digs asks and nobody can give an answer.

Connor – Michigan -4 – Michigan off a loss is going to be a team on a mission. Same way I’m on a mission to find the greatest chicken parmesan sub in Indianapolis.

Gorms – Brooklyn -10 – Gorman is all over D’Angelo Russell and thinks he’ll be hitting all night. Plus, he shoots and he’s fast, fast.

Digs – Denver -15 – Suns stink, Nuggets are good. That’s all that needs to be said for Tony.

Connor – Jazz -10 – Minnesota is coming off a back to back and Rudy Gobert will give Karl Anthony Towns the business all night. Love the Jazz just like I love my dessert.

Gorms – Jazz -10 – Joe Ingles can shoot, but he isn’t fast. Gorman isn’t worried either way.

Those are the picks for tonight, go tell your bookie to back up the dump trucks cause he’ll need to with these winners on the board.

Digs, Connor, Gorms

Chuck And Shaq Thursday’s

Finally, Chuck and Shaq grace us with their presence on this wonderful Thursday in America. Celtics blew out the Pacers last night and I’ll probably be letting everyone and their mother know about it this weekend. First, lets get to the winners of the evening.

There are 4 NBA games tonight so we’ll touch them all like it’s baseball. Four bases in baseball, making sure we dot our i’s and cross our t’s. First, we travel to Miami where the Heat host the Celtics. Celtics are -1.5 right now but I expect that spread to increase by two or three points after last nights showing by the Celtics. The Celtics can sometimes go on these runs of dropping points galore so there may be another 130+ point game in the ole Celtics tonight. The Heat are a team who can sneak a game or two but I think the Celtics are realizing it’s time to pick it up and we saw that last night when they destroyed a solid Indiana team. The next game of the night is Clippers @ Nuggets. I like Nuggets -5 cause they are one of, if not, the hardest team to beat at home. Their rap sheet of teams beaten in Denver is crazy so I think they’ll be able to take care of business. If the spread goes to 4, think about taking the over 226. Clippers and Nuggets both can score at will and the last Clippers game was a 130+ point performance. We’ll see what the Doctor is cooking up for the Clippers but I’d trust Jokic and the Nugs to get the job done.

The next game is a possible playoff matchup in May between the Thunder and the Spurs. The game is in San Antonio and the spread is 1.5 in favor of the Thunder. This is probably the toughest game on the board, unsure which team will show up on both sides of the court. Thunder and the Spurs go through spurts of huge overs and huge unders. Out the gate, the money is on the under of 223 but for some reason I like the over tonight. A big man battle like Adams vs Aldridge calls for a plethora of points but see whether or not that line will increase, if it does go up, take the over but for now I’m taking Spurs +1.5. Last one of the night comes from California – Sacramento to be exact. The Pistons are on a back to back and the Kings are one of the best young units in the NBA. De’Aaron Fox has come on as an absolute stud and we’ll see how he holds up against Blake and the boys tonight. Betting on the Kings is one of my new favorite pastimes cause they used to be so pathetic and now it’s exhilarating to slam them. I’m gonna take the over 224 in this one and if Sacramento spread goes up to -6 then I’m hammering that as well.

For college basketball, I’m taking Cincinnati -6.5 and UCONN -2.5. Schools with a C seem to do well for me so let’s hope that trend stays true. Lost the Auburn/Ole Miss over last night by half a point and if I get another one of those tonight I’ll be taking a hiatus from the college game.

Recap: Celtics -2.5, Nuggets -5, Pistons/Kings over 224, Spurs +1.5, Cincinnati -6.5, UCONN -2.5. Those are the six basketball games we’re rocking tonight and we need it now more than ever. I wish everyone the utmost luck in unearthing your bookie’s bank account.

NBA Tuesday Chalk Talk

Last night we did the 50/50 split, not to mention the Clemson -5.5 and over that I said I was taking even though I ended up taking Bama. Nothing like second-guessing yourself and being wrong, it’s the best.

Never fear, we march on with our NBA games and attempt to stay hot as 2019 rolls on. Nothing says redemption like a Tuesday night slate that has an over/under set at exactly 230. We’ll start with that over as we travel to LA for a Hornets @ Clippers matchup. The Hornets can either put up 130 or mail it in and score 80 points while getting routed. I’m thinking tonight is a good ole fashioned shootout and even if I thought otherwise I’d be remiss to bet an under 230. Doc and his team of nurses will get the job done and put up a solid 123 so hopefully the Hornets can get at least 108 points on the board. The other over I like tonight is Hawks @ Raptors over 228.5. The Hawks haven’t had a big game in awhile and because Drake will be in attendance to see Trae Young, I’d assume there’s a points fest brewing up in Canada tonight. Raptors haven’t lost at home in quite some time and I don’t see why that would change tonight. Spread is set high at 14.5 and if the over/under goes down throughout the day I’d probably take the spread. That’s how you chalk up a spread just incase there’s an over/under change. Nothing like talking chalk, just the best.

The Thunder have been rocking and rolling as of late and they play the soft Minnesota T-Wolves team in Oklahoma tonight. Steven Adams must be Karl Anthony Towns’ biggest nightmare. Massive dude who could probably chop down trees for a living he’s so gritty. If KAT wasn’t playing basketball he’d be streaming on Twitch which is a great business but not even close on the scale of grit compared to chopping trees down. Coach Thibs got the boot which can sometimes rally a team but hopefully we get the KAT Minnesota team and not the D-Rose Minnesota team. D-Rose could be the best player in the NBA this year but that’s just what I’ve heard through the grapevine. The last game we’re going with is the team we bet against last night: the Denver Nuggets. Betting against James Harden right now is one of the worst things you could do. He’s too hot and you don’t bet against a rocket rising for the sun. Houston Rockets pun there, no big deal. But the Nuggets are going to Miami to play the Heat and I thin they bounce back after this loss. Heat are an East team and the Nuggets are one of the best teams in the West. Gotta ride with the Western Conference cause they’re so much better than the East. Nuggets +1 and that’s the best bet on the board for basketball tonight.

Recap: Hawks/Raptors over 228.5, Hornets/Clippers over 230, Thunder -8, Nuggets +1. College football is over and we have to prepare for basketball to be the only thing on tv for a little while. Late entry Iowa State -2.5 for the college game tonight but live and die with the Nuggets. Good luck to all trying to obtain the grain from their book master tonight.

NBA Monday In America

Our weekend ended up being a good old fashioned 50/50 split between the plethora of games we were taking. The only reason it ended up in the positive was because of a Golden Tate touchdown at odds of +500. My normal rule for the player prop tab is to close the browser once you open it. However, when you take one for every playoff game you better take a prop for the last one too cause even if you’re 1/4 on them for the weekend you still end up on in the green. Let’s get to tonight.

Now, I always take the Celtics no matter what, but tonight against the Brooklyn Nets is a little different. The Nets are god awful on back to back games and they went to war yesterday against the Chicago Bulls. Celtics at home -9.5 is a lot but this Boston team has been hitting their stride and it’ll continue with the Nets. To think we got Tatum and Brown with the picks the Nets gave us. Classic cuckold by Danny Ainge just swindling everyone in the Nets front office. We’ll run the Nets out of the gym with or without Kyrie. Look for a full fledged blowout tonight at the Garden which will probably mean under city if you don’t want to take the -9.5.  A much better game tonight is Nuggets @ Rockets. I don’t think anyone is slowing down James Harden right now and normally I like the Nuggets but only when they’re playing in Mile High. This game is in Houston and after that big Golden State win, the Rockets will keep rolling on. Look for James Harden to come through big again for his team and if they are losing at half big (again), double down and live bet the Rockets ML. Payout is big and will be a reason to keep watching.

The next two games we’re staying in the Western Conference. The other night I took the Sacramento Kings against the Golden State Warriors. I pinched myself multiple times, but I wasn’t dreaming. Naturally I turned in figuring I threw away 20 bucks, but when I awoke to a Kings cover, I knew these boys were for real. Kings are at home against the Magic who are coming off a back to back as well. Kings -5.5 and I never thought in my life I would feel so great about a Sacramento Kings team. The future is bright for Marv and De’Aaron and by future I mean tonight as the Kings win by at least 6. Next we go to the opposite side of this spread, +5.5. The Utah Jazz are coming off a Detroit game where Donovan put on a show to will the Jazz to victory. Tonight, they got Giannis and the Bucks in Milwaukee. I haven’t been a huge Bucks guy thus far and that may bite me in the ass, but I like Utah as the dogs tonight. 5.5 is a lot of points for a very solid Jazz team and I think they put up a good fight. With Gobert in the middle, lets hope the big man can slow down Giannis in the paint. If he can, look for Joe Ingles to be dropping buckets in the corner on the offensive end.

The small game known as the National Championship is tonight and although I’m a huge proponent on bet on the better team, I’m taking Clemson tonight. Dexter Lawrence should be playing but weed will be weed. Trevor Lawrence is the guy who comes in slinging and cements himself as the best QB in division 1 football. With that being said, Bama could win by a field goal and make this a National Championship to remember. Clemson +5.5 is too much and even though I might switch my pick right before game time, 5.5 is just too much for me right now.

Recap: Celtics -9.5, Rockets -1.5, Kings -5.5, Jazz +5.5, Clemson +5.5 (as of right now). It’s a new week so forget about what the bookie took from us last week, let’s win it back. Good luck to all tonight and think about a Renfrew touchdown or over catches to start off with in the player props column.

NBA Picks Going Into The Weekend

Let’s. GO. NBA picks with a few college mixed in to get the blood FLOWING heading into the weekend. Lot on our plates in tonights slate of games so time to get to it.

Raptors are heading to Orlando to take on the Magic of Mo Bamba. Normally I like to ride with my friend Sheck Wes and Mr. Bamba, but I don’t think it’s happening against the Raptors. I saw a stat the other day that they’ve come back from the most 17+ point deficits this year in the NBA. Don’t know how that helps us in this game, but if they go down early don’t be afraid to live bet them ML to win. Just a thought for all you who give up in the first quarter of a game, maybe try doubling down. Next, I like the over in the Thunder/Suns game. Thunder lost on Christmas and to say Russel Westbrook wasn’t happy would be an understatement. They’re going to come out guns blazing so I’m going to take the over 225.5 and also take the Thunder -6. They had two days rest and the Suns are still the Suns. Bad teams lose, good teams win, and we have the epitome of that match up with this game tonight. Devin Booker is going to lose his way to a super team, guy is a genius.
Booker and Ayton agreeing on a team tank

This portion of our bets may take some people for a loop but sometimes you gotta bet what you gotta bet. That’s right, UNDER. Cavs are heading to Miami and I feel like most games the Heat partake in are under city. Cavs are the real reason I see this game flying down under. It’s set at 200.5 and because it’s that low I feel it in my plums that this game is heading for a 102-85 final. We’ll see what happens but I’m nearly positive this game is going under, nearly positive. Next there’s the Spurs heading to the Nuggets after the Spurs just beat the Nuggets in San Antonio. I’m thinking after the Nuggets lose away, they beat the same team at home a few days later. Nuggets -3.5 at home and there aren’t too many teams who have waltzed into Denver and won. Expect a nice little revenge game, especially between two West teams that could possibly see each other down the road. Denver all over San Antonio tonight just like the Clippers/Lakers all over the OVER tonight. Over 229.5 is a lock right now but by the time the battle of LA is upon us the number will probably be up to 232. No Lebron means no defense so this one is bound for a shootout.
Lebron watching the Lakers from the sideline

In the college slate, Detroit +1 @ 2 pm, Wright State -7, and Oakland +2.5. Detroit +1 is going to be slammed cause who doesn’t love getting riled up at 2 pm on a Friday for a Detroit Titans basketball game?

NBA Recap: Toronto -6, Nuggets -3.5, Cavs/Heat under 200.5, Thunder/Suns over 225.5, Thunder -6. Again, I love all of these bets and there’s a huge chance these all hit. At the same time, I hate all of these bets and there’s a huge chance these all miss. God, gambling is the best.

Tuesday Night NBA Teams To Take

We’re back. That’s right, Bro Bro Bro and I both had the Thunder last night and if that’s the case then the last leaf of Fade Boston Connor season has fallen.
This is dangerously close to how I dance

3-1 last night and I should of been 4-0 but I took the over in Golden State which is great news. Great news, because Golden State is dying. They aren’t dead, not even close, but they’re not going to win the title this year and that’s because they didn’t hit an over 210. For that, we’re starting this bad larry off today with an over. An over 230, just the way we like it. Wizards @ Atlanta over 236.5 all day. John Wall will probably let Trae Young shoot it from all over the court but still come back to win 135-133. It’s awesome how the Wizards went from fighting the Celtics in the playoffs to having to blow up their entire operation. Just do it Ted, blow the team up and give the Spurs John Wall, it would only make the league better. Next, we’re going to the mile high city, yes, Denver. Mavericks @ Nuggets and we’re riding with the European angel Luka Doncic at +5. Earlier in the year we saw Deandre Jordan steal a rebound from Luka and now he’s out there coaching him up. Pretty awesome to see the Mav’s finally treat this guy like the superstar he is. He has the potential to be the best European ever and that’s saying something cause he shares the court with Dirk who is arguably number 1. Young Dirk with Steve Nash will forever be an iconic duo.

I’ve been riding with Lebron and the Lakers for awhile so I don’t see why I’d stop now when he rolls into his best friends palace. Lebron in front of Jay-Z is a dangerous Lebron James, just as we saw when Lebron was playing in front of MJ the other night. Lakers ran the Hornets out of the gym and I can see that happening tonight too. Lakers -2.5 @ Nets even if the Nets are on a 5 game winning streak. It’s all about Lebron and Jay-Z when the Lakers come to town so expect another show from the Purple and Gold. Last but not least, my second favorite team in the NBA now, the Indiana Pacers. No, it has nothing to do with living in Indiana and everything to do with Vic Oladipo being on my fantasy team. Team Phat Stax had a hot start but once Oladipo went down we went through a slump. Now, back and better than ever, Oladipo and the Pacers are primed for a Christmas run into the New Year. Cav’s are terrible and are 7-23 with a 2-11 record on the road. Pacers, at home -12 in an absolute blowout. I thought it would be way more fun watching the Cav’s lose but it’s not fun unless Lebron is losing too.

Recap: Wizards/Hawks over 236.5, Mavericks +5, Lebron -2.5, and Pacers -12. Don’t feel great about the Mavericks cause of how good the Nuggets are at home but Doncic is too fun to watch to bet against. Let’s keep the NBA streak going tonight and see if we can step up our College Basketball game.

In college tonight, I’m taking Duke -31.5, obviously. If you’re not betting on Duke yet start now so you have some money for Christmas. I’m also taking Buffalo @ Syracuse. Buffalo is +4 and Syracuse is coming off a loss to Old Dominion. A spoof? Maybe, but Buffalo hasn’t lost yet so to the very least they lose on a last second miss/make. Good luck tonight and let’s hope the gambling gods are still in our favor.

My Apologies To All

For some reason, we went 4-0 in basketball bets last night and my whole world feels off.

Never in my life would I think there would be a night that I didn’t lose money. However, here I sit, alive and stunned at the almost positive balance in my account. Fade season may be fading, but there’s no chance I let it stop here. I will do my absolute best to pick the right spreads for the people to fade today.

The Celtics are so far back it’s not even funny. There are few teams with the skill that the Boston Celtics have not only on the court but coaching too. Brad Stevens cracked the case on our squad and now we’re just steam rolling teams. They’ve been running teams out of the gym and it’s about time cause we can do that to anyone. For that, we’re taking them -2.5 @ Detroit. The Pistons have good players but they just lost to Charlotte and seem to be headed in the wrong direction. Take the C’s spread and feel great about it. To go with that, we’re taking the loquacious Lakers. I know Bron just lost to Houston but that makes me like the Lakers even more tonight at Charlotte. Lebron in front of Jordan, of course he’s going to put on a show. Expect a few smiles exchanged between those two as Lebron throws his baby powder into the air. Lakers -2 in Charlotte and them being favorites is even more confirmation that they’re going to blow the Hornets out.

Not too many high over/unders tonight, not even one near 230 which is absolutely despicable. I’m not happy about it but we’ll take the closest thing which is Clippers @ Thunder over 225.5. I don’t think Russel Westbrook is going to lose after the whole Jamal Murray debacle last night. That little Canadian bastard pisses off more superstars than Ron Artest before he was Metta World Peace. I don’t hate the way Denver plays but they aren’t the Celtics so the Nuggets can shove it. The last game we’re rocking with is more along the lines of the previously used full proof system: betting against the worst teams in the league. Spurs -10.5 at home against the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are just a traveling dumpster fire right now and Popovich at home usually puts on a show for the people of San Antonio. Another blowout in Texas here as the Spurs route the Bulls. Of any of the games, this is the one I’d go biggest on. Or the Celtics, obviously.

College Basketball is all day as well and I know absolutely nothing but Zion is the greatest player ever. Georgetown -3.5, NC State -4, Pitt -24, and Indiana in a pick em. Could of drawn these names out of a hat but they’re all locks for sure.

To recap the NBA, I’m going with the Celtics -2.5, Lakers -2, Clippers/Thunder over 225.5, and Spurs -10.5 at home. We hit on all cylinders last night so lets hope these games bring back the season of the fade. If not, maybe were entering a new season of betting. That, or some of BroBroBro’s magic somehow was given to me. Either way, good luck to all in their gambling endeavors this weekend.×24-l2Je4BuL5OnZaMrKM

I Have Discovered My Powers

Last night, I went an incredible 1-5. For most, that is terrible but in our case, we are heating up and feeling great. Not to mention, I took the Chiefs and doubled down when they were up 14-0. Very happy to be here to perform for you guys so lets hope it continues on tonight with these NBA picks.

We are going to keep this short and sweet because I don’t want to be reverse jinxing any action for everyone’s bets tonight. In the league of baskets, I usually just go with whoever team has the better players. Crazy strategy I know, really payed off last night when James Harden dropped 50 in  Lebron’s face. I like James Harden but Lebron has to just take the ball and score on every possession cause he doesn’t have a legit #2. Harden has CP3. Whatever, we’re over last night. Tonight, we’re taking Celtics -12.5. They play the Hawks at home and even though the Hawks play us pretty tough, the Celtics have been hot. Kyrie should teach Trae Young a thing or two tonight as we rout the Hawks. Another young buck going tonight is Colin Sexton and the Cavs against Milwaukee. Bucks -10.5 in Cleveland all day. Giannis will win the MVP and they will win this game by 15. Cavs are an absolute shit show of a team and the Bucks are very legit this year.

The Sacramento Kings had a game go into the 270’s the other night. They can score, they can’t play defense, and when they play the Warriors its OVER OVER OVER. Warriors @ Kings over 235 and we are probably hitting another 270 total points in this game. It would be hard to take the opposite, but you are practically forced to hear. Last but not least, Thunder @ Nuggets. This game could go either way so I’m going with the Nuggets at home. They’ve beat the Warriors, Celtics, and Raptors there so they should be able to handle the Thunder. Nuggets +1.5 at home. I like our chances and when I say our chances I mean your chances.

Recap: Celtics -12.5, Bucks -10.5, Warriors/Kings over 235, Nuggets +1.5. Don’t forget to take the exact opposite, the fade is HEATING up.
