BBC – “Detectives say Niels Högel administered fatal doses of medication to the people in his care – causing cardiac arrest – at two hospitals in northern Germany. His motive, prosecutors say, was to impress colleagues by trying to revive the very patients he had attacked.
Högel, 41, is already serving a life term for six deaths while in his care.He is now said to have killed 36 patients in Oldenburg and 64 in nearby Delmenhorst between 1999 and 2005.
When asked by the judge in the Oldenburg court if the charges against him were true, the 41-year-old confessed to “more or less” all of them.”
Well, that’s comforting. Get a load of the balls on Niels Högel here. Administering fatal amounts of medication all so he could try to revive his patients. I don’t claim to be familiar with the intricacies of German health care, but you’d think after people started dropping like flies in this guys care, someone in administration would’ve raised an eyebrow. 100 patients in six years is FUCKING LUNACY. How do they even let a guy who looks like work in a hospital? That’s Donkey Lips from Salute Your Shorts had he gone on a ten year booze and heroin bender after leaving Camp Anawanna.
Camp Anawanna, we hold you in our hearts, and when I think about
Donkey Lips Niels Högel, it makes me wanna shart.
People can shit on the US for a numerous number of things, but at least when it comes to health care we do it the right way i.e. stacking up medical bills until you’re in crippling debt for the rest of your life or refusing to give medical attention if your insurance is dogshit. But we’re not lulling people into a false sense of security like this batshit wacko from Germany.
“Records at the Oldenburg hospital showed rates of deaths and resuscitations had more than doubled when Högel was on shift, German media reported”
Personally, if I saw a stat like that, I’m probably going to do a little leg work and see what the deal is. Things would seem a little wonky to me if this kind of shit was happening every time Niels walked into the operating room:
At this point, you can only hope that these families will see justice served and they’ll either lock this bag of excrement up in some gulag and let him rot to death or a firing squad with take him out promptly. The moral of the story here is that if you have anything worse than a common cold in places like Germany, don’t bother getting it checked out, let your immune system do the work.
