Still Searching For Anything Close To Marino

The Miami Dolphins are 5-4. Yes you read that right, but this team still doesn’t fell any further along than it was last year with Smokin Jay at the helm. I find it just as hilarious and enjoyable as everyone else to watch the Brocketship set sail every Sunday. He is not the issue, Ryan Tannehill is. He has been the quarterback for seven years now seven FUCKING years. He’s taken the Fins to the playoffs once and one could argue that was as much to do with Matt Moore as him. Gase said he hasn’t hit his ceiling yet, but he was awful with both knees and a good shoulder. Now he has a bummed knee and shoulder, this isn’t going to get any better from here. Dan Marino retired in 1999 and the Fins have been to the playoffs four times since, winning one playoff game. The list of QBs since isn’t pretty either, we’ve watched some real beauty’s in this time. The likes of Gus Frerotte, Joey Harrington and Chad “muffin man” Pennington just to name a few. Then the real kicker passing up on Drew Brees for Daunte Culpepper when they were both coming back from injury. This team does not need a quarterback, they now need a franchise altering quarterback. Ship the Brocket out there all next year and tank for Tua as far as I’m concerned. It’s time for a change in Miami and I think Gase is a good coach he just needs his guy.
